The Water Moved Over the Rocks
A sublime day at Great Rock Bight Preserve. We sat by the rocks where the water slipped and foamed over them, repeating itself. Blues and greens everywhere. Clear light. Nobody else around. Just me and my wife, tucked into the quiet of the cove, listening.

Held by the Sound
This drawing came out of that rhythm—the motion of water, the sunlight bouncing in the shallows, the calm of a moment shared. It’s not a technical rendering. More like a memory pulled forward through color and gesture. A way to hold stillness and sound at the same time.
