A New Skyline in Brooklyn It’s wild to stand atop Fort Greene Park and look west, seeing nothing but Brooklyn buildings. Our city has transformed, giving rise to its own skyline. It may not be as towering or dramatic as Manhattan’s, but it has character and grit. In this drawing, I wanted to highlight the buildings standing before the wild, untamed trees of the park. It’s a battle—nature versus machine, the organic against the manmade.
Capturing the Clash Between Nature and Industry This piece emphasizes the tension between the rising Brooklyn skyline and the organic beauty of Fort Greene Park’s trees. The buildings stand tall and gritty, while the trees remain untamed, symbolizing the ongoing struggle between the natural world and urban development.
A Unique Urban Landscape for Your Home Bring the evolving skyline of Brooklyn into your space with this drawing. It’s perfect for those who appreciate the grittier, emerging side of New York City’s landscapes, offering a blend of nature’s raw beauty and the strength of urban architecture.
