Seaview Sketches: Families Gathering

By afternoon, the beach was full. Parents in folding chairs, kids darting at the water’s edge, a mix of striped towels and sunhats scattered across the sand. I sat among them, drawing quickly to keep up with the shifting movement.

The drawing became about community, about how the beach brings people together. The sea and sky receded into calm distance, while the foreground held all the warmth and chatter of a summer day.
