Go Up Anyway
This is a moment of collision. Sharpe against Giannis. Power against grit. The block was inevitable, but Sharpe went up anyway. That’s the story here—relentless effort in the face of overwhelming odds.
No Chance, Still Fighting
The game was the same story, over and over. The Bucks’ stars—bigger, stronger, more polished. The Nets—out-hustling, out-working, finding ways to stay alive. It wasn’t supposed to be close, but it was. And in the end, the Nets found a way.
The Struggle in Motion
This drawing is about that clash. The gouache and ink capture the tension—sharpened lines, layered textures, the arms and ball exploding in color against the chaos. It’s a study in persistence, in what it means to try, even knowing you might fail.
Hope Above, Reality Below
Art has always explored struggle. This piece carries that tradition forward. The clean, open space above reflects a kind of hope, while the collision below grounds it in the reality of the moment. It’s not just basketball. It’s a human story, caught in motion.
