A Tree That Stands Alone On a beautiful day, with Grace by my side, I sat on the top of Fort Greene Park in Brooklyn and looked out at one particular tree. Its long, sprawling branches extended maybe 100 feet from the trunk, casting shadows across the park. The tree seemed to stand alone, its presence commanding the space.
A Focus on Nature’s Architecture This drawing captures the strength and elegance of a single tree. The composition highlights the branches’ intricate structure, balancing between lightness and stability. It’s part of a larger project where I bring just three pieces of paper and focus on capturing the essence of the moment.
Bring the Beauty of Nature Into Your Home This piece brings the quiet power of nature into your home. Its intricate linework and focus on the tree’s grand, sprawling branches make it a striking addition to any space, reminding the viewer of nature’s quiet resilience.
