Hibiscus, Shadowed Tower

Bright red hibiscus blooms caught the sun at the edge of the path, their petals wide and impossible to ignore. Beyond them, the lampposts receded, and a dark tower pressed against the skyline.

The drawing became about insistence—nature not just enduring, but flourishing in color, even with shadow and weight close behind. A reminder that wildness persists, even in the cracks of a changing city.
