These echinacea are from a garden in Cobble Hill Brooklyn.
The way the color and the ink go together really exemplify these hardscrabble flowers. I drew these using brush and gouache and ink, and I really like the way the top most, dying blossom is up above the rest. When I am between projects, I draw flowers.
The Prints are Gorgeous.
The original is 16" x 12". The prints are beautiful accurate representations of the original with a 1.5 inch border top and bottom and .5 on the left and right). I use Hahnemuhle German Etching paper and print right to the edges. The blacks are black, the colors are beautiful and the prints are virtually indistinguishable from the originals.
