A Melancholy Day in the Park On this quiet day, the weather was perfectly nice, but there was a sense of melancholy in the air. I found myself sitting alone on a hill in Fort Greene Park, looking down at a few scattered people, each enjoying their own form of solitude—urban solitude, as much as it can be found in a city park.
Part of a Larger Exploration This piece is part of a project where I carry just three pieces of paper with me, using each to capture the fleeting moments I encounter. The brush and ink sketch reflects the contrast between nature's stillness and the subtle activity of the park, balancing the two energies.
Bring Calm into Your Home Imagine this drawing hanging in your home, bringing a quiet, reflective mood into your space. Its soft, gestural lines evoke a calm that can be felt even in the hustle of city life, creating a perfect focal point for a room that values both tranquility and urban charm.
