This one’s from Lake Tashmoo Town Beach. It was hot, bright—one of those days where the sun doesn’t let up. The beach was empty. Waves came in soft and steady. Along the shore, a few houses among the trees, barely moving. I sat down with my brush and let the scene come in slowly.
