After White Plum by Gim Hongdo

 As part of my practice, I make studies of master painters. This is from a Korean artist Gim Hongdo, and it's just such a pretty piece. I'm happy with my rendition, which uses sumi ink and a tiny amount of color for the plums.

The original is 24" x 18" brush and sumi ink and gouache on paper.
