This is Jackson.
He's a beagle, and he hangs with me in my studio. In this painting, it looks a little like he's wearing a yellow bonnet. I just like the idea of trying to put a hat on a beagle.
One Halloween, we had this idea that he could go as Cerberus, and we made a costume out of two stuffed animal that made it look like he has three heads. It lasted about 10 seconds before being ripped to shreds.
Anyway, I think about him and the shredded stuffed animals when I look at this painting.
It's a small painting, with a lot of heart.
The original is 6" x 8", so really intimate, but I think that's the point here.
The prints are gorgeous.
I print these on 8.5" x 11" Hahnemühle German Etching all-cotton archival 310 g/mA Paper so they fit in a standard frame. Each print is signed by me, the artist.
It's part of a series.
This is something I keep coming back to and they all look good together. Collect them all.
