This is Jackson.
He's a beagle and here he's just waking up, probably from a bad dream
I know he might seem a little scary, but I think he's really just a little annoyed. "Stop bothering me so I can go back to sleep" he's thinking. I think it's interesting that we can read so much into a dog's thoughts, even though we have no idea what's really happening.
It's a small painting, with a lot of heart.
The original is 6" x 8", so small and intimate. This is a great piece for a hallway or somewhere else where you'll come into close contact with it.
The prints are gorgeous.
I print these on 8.5" x 11" Hahnemühle German Etching all-cotton archival 310 g/mA Paper so they fit in a standard frame. Each print is signed by me, the artist.
It's part of a series.
This is something I keep coming back to and they all look good together. Collect them all.
