Sleepy Dog - Study 2 - Dreaming

This is Jackson.

He's my beagle and he sleeps in a chair in my studio when I paint. Here he's dreaming he's chasing a rabbit or other animal and he's just woken up.

I love when he's sleeping and he has a doggy dream and he starts running in his sleep. He even makes little beagle howls, but at a volume that doesn't make me jump out of my shoes.

It's a small painting, with a lot of heart.

The original is 6" x 8", so small and intimate, a nice piece for a hallway or other small room where you can get close to it.

The prints are gorgeous.

I print these on 8.5" x 11" Hahnemühle German Etching all-cotton archival 310 g/mA Paper so they fit in a standard frame. Each print is signed by me, the artist.
