What is it about cats and boxes?
It doesn't seem to matter what kind of box it is, as soon as you put it on the floor (or a table or anywhere within cat-leaping distance) Pandora (my daughter's cat) finds it. I think her expression when she sits in a box is perfect. It's my box, she says, and I don't care how silly I look sitting in it.
It's Pandora's Box now.
In the original myth, Pandora opens the box and after all the evil has been released into the world, all that is left is hope. I think, given the events of this year, we could all use a little hope.

The prints are really beautiful.
I print these near life size on 13" x 19" Hahnemuhle German Etching Paper with no border using archival inks. The paper has a little texture and the actual prints are just as vibrant as the originals. It's really a great image, showing the bittersweet happiness after the party is over and everyone has gone home.
