Jokic, Davis, and Hachimura Fight for the Loose Ball - Game 2 - Lakers/Nuggets

Though the game was literally decided by balls in the hoop, the real action was in the fights for the loose balls. Here Jokic, Davis and Hachimura are all reaching out for the ball. This is a little more abstract than most of my basketball drawings, but I think it captures the energy.

As part of my practice, I draw scenes from basketball games. It's a good place to hone my skills as an artist and capture some of what makes sports so exciting.

I'm selling both the original and archival prints.

The original is 24" x 18" brush and sumi ink on paper. I make the prints so they fit standard frames. The image is 20" x 16" printed on 22" x 17" Hahnemuhle German Etching paper which has a slight texture. They are printed on a top-of-the-line printer using archival inks.
