January Night Fire in Big Sur

There used to be a fire season in the West.

But now it burns all the time. Climate change is making the US East wetter and the West drier and more fire prone. In California, despite historic rains, there was enough kindling for yet another fire.

This is not the new normal, it's already old news.

The warming for the foreseeable future is already baked in. Even if we stopped burning fossil fuels today, we'd still see another degree of warming. But we're not stopping, and nobody seems to care.

The archival prints are beautiful.

The original is 11" x 14" pen and brush and ink on paper, and the prints are with a 1" border on three sides and a 2" border on the bottom. These are printed using archival ink on Hahnemuhle German Etching paper. The blacks are black and the tones are almost exactly like the original. Each is signed and numbered.
