This baby is triumphant.
This is a painting I made in 1994 when my wife was pregnant with my son. I was looking at it the other day (December, 2020), and I realized it was a good metaphor for how I feel about the upcoming year. I'm not sure what I was thinking when I did the painting, but to my present-day and tired late-2020 eyes, it looks like the baby (obviously representing the upcoming glorious year of 2021) is leaping out and away from the fire and chaos of 2020.
The print is gorgeous.
I’m selling 16” x 10” signed Giclée prints of the painting on Hahnemühle German Etching 310 g/mA Paper. It's hard for me to convey just how nice these prints look. The colors match the original perfectly. It's truly a wonder what these printers can do these days.
The original painting is 14" x 8". There is a 1” border on all sides.
