My father passed away 13 years ago and a day doesn’t go by when I don’t have something I would like to tell him, or a question I’d like to ask. I haven’t drawn hi since before I got married, and there’s something both challenging and moving about looking at his face, really looking.

This drawing is based on a beautiful photo that Grace took a little over a year before he died. In the photo, you see me and my mom in the background playing with nine-month old baby Helen. My dad’s sitting on the couch; he has a look on his face that really captured him thinking.
I tried in this painting to catch that look, and I think I got close. I miss you dad.

You will receive a 12" x 16" signed Giclée print on Hahnemühle German Etching 310 g/mA Paper. The image size is 10"x 14" with a 1" border on each side. This is an edition of 100.

Great print!

Great quality print of a stunning piece of one of my favorite places, what's not to love?

Palm Court
Great art, great memories

This particular rendering of Palm Court really brought back the spirit of Palm Court and New College, one of the most positive and formative periods of my entire life. Also it’s a beautiful work.

Dan and I love this print, because it's powerful and inspiring, plus it is beautiful. We are so pleased to have it in our home.

Beautiful print

This is a truly excellent print. The aestehtics and craftsmanship and truly top-notch. I'm delighted to have it in my home.

Since this painting depicts an iconic area of where I went to college, I have a nostalgic draw to it. But beyond that, this is a gorgeous painting that looks realistic but also artistic and a bit surreal. Michael James Freedman is an extremely talented artist and I'm very glad to have one of his prints on my wall.
