Agbaji, from the Jazz, had jumped prematurely and was doing everything he could to avoid bumping into Bridges. What I like about this composition is it's as if Agabji is meditating, calm, as he knows he's been beaten.
As part of my practice, I make a drawing of the game after most Nets games. It's a good place to hone my skills as an artist and capture some of what makes sports so exciting.
I'm selling both the original and archival prints.
The original is 24" x 18" brush and sumi ink on paper. The prints are slightly smaller at 22" x 17" and are printed on Hahnemuhle German Etching paper which has a slight texture. They are printed on a top-of-the-line printer using archival inks.
