I think there's something inherently beautiful in the shape of a bicycle at rest, the way the handlebars stand as a stolid shape against the potential energy held in the pedals and the wheels. This drawing was done in the park where someone had left their bike sitting on a kickstand near a picnic. It was completed using a brush pen in less than 10 seconds, which I think gives it the sense of potential energy held by the bike.

The original drawing is 7" x 5.5" brush pen and ink on paper and is in my sketchbook. The print is faithful to the original drawing, so faithful that you can see hints of the other drawings on the other side of the paper. It's printed on beautiful Hahnemuhle German Etching all cotton paper using archival ink on an 11" x 8.5" paper. Just buy a cheap standard frame and you're ready to go!

Each print is signed and numbered.
